Dieser DSL/Kabel-VPN-Firewall-Router verfügt über acht 10/100 geswitchte Ports, acht VPN-Tunnel, fortschrittliche Sicherheitsfunktionen und den intelligenten Smart Wizard Web-Agenten zum einfachen Konfigurieren der Firewall-Funktionalität. Der Router kann bis zu acht IPSec (Internet Protocol Security)-basierte VPN-Tunnel aktivieren, die für durchgängige Sicherheit für eine Kombination von authentifizierten Remote-Sites oder mobilen Benutzern sorgen. Der FVS318 verfügt darüber hinaus über eine echte Firewall mit Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI)-Technologie, die Denial-of-Service (DoS)-Attacken weitgehend ausschließt, sowie über eine Web-basierte Remote-Management-Funktion für problemlosen Multi-Site-Einsatz.
